our story

We started Coastal Spirit Tours out of a love of meeting new people who are passionate about craft spirits, sharing brews and having a good time.

Having owned and operated hospitality venues around the Gold Coast, we thought it was time to do something different and share our love for spirits and regional knowledge with others. We’ve sat on both sides of the bar, sharing laughs with people from all walks of life. We’ve travelled the world, had our fair share of adventures and we know the special ingredients for a fun night out, one that will make you feel right at home, no matter where you’re from.

We’ve designed our tours with the idea of immersing you in the region’s best culture all while presenting you with top-notch drinks, gourmet goodness and some good old coastal spirit.
 It’s a chance for those looking for an authentic experience to meet the makers behind the drinks, learn a thing or two, and make some new friends along the way.

FAQ's

Our experiences cover transport and tastings. Additional expenses such as meals, drinks from the bar, bottle purchases and merchandise are incurred at your expense.

 

Enjoy the comfort of our private, climate-controlled luxury vehicles. We provide an onboard cooler with ice, and you’re welcome to be the day’s DJ. We encourage you to make yourself at home while respecting our vehicles. Decorations for special occasions can be accommodated upon request.

We pride ourselves on offering only private tours. You won’t encounter any unfamiliar faces on board – it’s just you and your mates.

We offer experiences for groups of all sizes:

  • Intimate Groups: 5 or fewer guests (small group surcharge applies)
  • Small Gatherings: 6-11 guests
  • Medium Parties: 12-21 guests
  • Large Assemblies: 22-39 guests (+$5 per additional person)
  • Grand Events: 40-55 guests (+$5 per additional person)

For groups exceeding 55 guests (up to 220), please contact us for a tailored booking proposal.

Absolutely. We’re happy to arrange private tours for smaller groups. Please note that our standard pricing is adjusted for more intimate groups:

  • 5 guests: Tour price + $15 per person
  • 4 guests: Tour price + $30 per person
  • 3 guests: Tour price + $45 per person
  • 2 guests: Tour price + $60 per person

After receiving confirmation of your date and vehicle, we’ll send you an invoice within one business day. We offer secure online payment or coordinate individual bank transfers among your group using the provided unique invoice number as a reference. All payments are due within two weeks of booking or by the specified due date, whichever comes first.

We offer a 50% refund on any payments made up to 14 days prior to your tour date. After this point, we’re unable to provide refunds.

We’re happy to accommodate pick-ups from a wide range of locations within reason.  Depending on the address, a nominal fee may apply to cover additional time, fuel, and distance.

 

Yes, you can! We provide an onboard esky with ice for your convenience. We simply ask that you treat our vehicles with respect and adhere to Queensland and Australian laws while on board.

 

We welcome guests of all ages. Those under 18 or those choosing not to partake in tastings can come along for the ride and enjoy the ambiance, scenery, and lunch at a 50% discount (Just let us know in advance). Please note that this discount doesn’t apply to groups with fewer than 6 full-paying guests.

 

We’re here to make sure you have a great time and we understand that things may get a bit rowdy. While we encourage you to have fun, we also ask that you respect our vehicles and follow any guidance from your private tour guide to ensure a memorable and safe journey for all.

Any damage to property or transportation will be charged back to the person who booked the tour via an invoice with 14 days to pay before debt collection is notified.

We ask all guests to please abide by Australian and Qld laws and to listen to any directions given to them by your private tour guide.

You bring yourselves and we’ll bring the vibes. We can decorate the bus by your request, be your photographer for the night and play your tunes or ours. We can keep you entertained with banter, games or give you space to yourselves if preferred.
